Are our lives fated and mapped out before we are born or do we have free will to determine our unique destinies? In this talk, author and clairvoyant Paul Fenton-Smith examines the three basic attitudes to fate.
For those who are fatalistic, life is pre-determined. For those who believe in free will, they can change the course of their lives through the decisions they make and the actions they take. Those who believe in free will reason that current circumstances in life are likely to be the result of past decisions and actions or the lack of actions.
There is a third approach to fate that involves accepting that some of the major events in our lives are pre-determined but that we have free will in how we respond to those significant events when they arrive.
Using examples from more than 30 years of clairvoyant readings with clients, Paul suggests that all three beliefs can work and that each unique perception of fate suits those who embrace it. You’ll have a chance to identify your approach to destiny and the different approaches of friends or family members.
