Re-assessing the Relinquishment of Religions

Talk, 1.00 - 2.00 pm, 21 February 2024.

Featured Speaker:Pamela Peterson
Venue:The Blavatsky Lodge of the Theosophical Society

It has been said that religions are too useful, effective and intelligent to be abandoned to the religious alone.  What has been the effect of this abandonment on society?  Is it too late to rescue religion from the scrap heap of religions?  Are there certain concepts and practices in the religious faiths that could be used to solve some of the problems of our secular society?  What has this to do with Theosophy?

Pamela Peterson, former secondary school teacher, chronic questioner, and seeker of answers, is the secretary of the Blavatsky Lodge Executive Committee.
