Henri Quin's Miniatures

We are very excited to host an exhibition of works by Australian-born artist Henri Quin whose latest works are inspired by Sydney.

Henri's series' The Buddha of Luna Park and Bridge Between Two Worlds explore the deeper meaning of two iconic Sydney landmarks - the Luna Park face and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Henri's mother had a keen interest in Theosophy. As a young person, he attended Theosophical events in Sydney with her in the 1970s and read many of her Theosophical books. He now lives in Switzerland and visits Sydney twice a year.

Henri will be giving a brief talk on his art and his creative motivations at the Wednesday talk on 23 October and will also be painting miniatures in the library on selected days.
